Me and Madame

Standing with me is the one and only, irreplaceable, outrageous, bighearted, clever and Absolutely Fabulous Katrina, commodore of the La Vendima Yacht Club and co-owner of the La Vendimia restaurant where the good times roll. Katrina is one of my best friends, and she is a true treasure! Born in Liverpool England, she worked on cruise ships for a good number of years, and was working on a ship that called on Ensenada. Eventually Katrina met Andres Tinoco, a local restauranteur. She's been in Mexico now for twenty years, climbing the social ladder and generally raising hell and having a great time raising her kids and building the business. This lady has brought so much happiness to so many people! I think she'll be sainted someday!
